For many of you, life is about to get even more challenging...the teachers who have the weight of the world on their shoulders and the parents, who now have to juggle work AND helping their children to study online. I am thinking of all of you and I'm actively looking for more proactive ways to support you. To that end, I will begin offering limited Saturday hours, beginning Aug 22. If this will make your life easier, please don't hesitate to email me at akline@charter.net and we'll see if we can adjust your therapy schedule. 2020 will end. Eventually.

So I’d love to know: how are you taking care of yourself these days? Here’s my latest attempt...and btw, I’m pretty sure...

So I’d love to know: how are you taking care of yourself these days? Here’s my latest attempt...and btw, I’m pretty sure I never touched yarn before Sunday...

Update:

Due to the current status of Covid-19 in NC, I will delay my return to the office through August, at least, with sincere hope that we see enough improvement in our numbers for me to safely
return in September. When I do return, I will continue to offer telehealth to those of you prefer it.

I hope everyone is doing well....taking good care of yourselves and your families, taking time to reflect on the many changes in our lives and in our world, staying connected, and taking time to really listen. Just listen. None of us will be unchanged this time next year. Please reach out when you need to and know that you are never alone. 2020 will end. Eventually.

Covid update:

As much as I miss seeing everyone in person, I have decided to continue telehealth through June at least. As always, I appreciate that all of you have given me the opportunity to stay connected to you on this platform and I hope that this can continue until we all feel safe and comfortable leaving our homes. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. - Amy

COVID-19 Update/Telehalth:

Based on the latest recommendation that teleworking in NC should continue whenever possible, I have decided to continue to provide telehealth sessions from home through the month of May (at least). I appreciate how willing all of you have been to continue (or begin) therapy this way, especially since the technology is not perfect and face to face sessions are obviously preferable. My goal is to stay connected to all of you (and your dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, fish, small children....) during this stressful time. I sincerely hope that you're all healthy, taking care of yourselves and that like me and my family, you've been able to find the "silver lining" as our busy lives have been slowed and deconstructed. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, concerns or for scheduling.
-Amy :)

A little bit of irony: the technology that once drove me nuts is maybe saving our sanity. There are so many cool ways to stay connected during this isolation from each other - I love the idea of virtual happy hours, virtual coffee breaks...my 24 y/o daughter and her friends are having virtual GNO’s (which I’m sure do not include 🍷lol)...virtual family time over video chat or FaceTime. The bottom line: Stay. Connected. ❤️
And btw, Telehealth is going great! Help is out there and more accessible than ever....another way to connect. 💻💕

Welcome to my new office! For clients who haven’t gotten an email from me yet, I will transition to Telehealth sessions (from my home) exclusively, beginning tomorrow 3/23. Things are getting real in Wake County, and I want to make sure we’re all doing our part to . All clients will be getting and email a few days before your scheduled appointment that will include a Telehealth guide. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Looking forward to seeing you on my computer screen....dogs and cats are welcome!! Stay healthy and stay connected!! ❤️
