As someone who is passionate about the lives of Women- Especially Black Women, it's no secret that I am an advocate for all things that are trauma-informed.

I encourage any professional that deals with the folks that are in their most vulnerable estates to reflect on anything you've learned and how you can apply it in your practice when dealing with Black Women. Remember, the work of a trauma-informed coach is ongoing, and together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of Black women.

Iโ€™ve spent the last few weeks thinking about how I can integrate all aspects and parts of me into this career pivot.

In 2023 I completed the coursework and was awarded a Certificate in Womenโ€™s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University.

I'm drawing upon my wealth of experience and expertise in mental health, trauma treatment and entrepreneurship.

Iโ€™m also seeing that trauma impacts all facets of a personโ€™s life. Itโ€™s hard to reach business, revenue, and life goals when you are subconsciously stuck in a trauma cycle.

Some people wonโ€™t seek traditional therapy but are utilizing various coaches (business, life, wellness...) to accomplish their goals.

So what would happen if more folks are working from a trauma informed lens?

I'm excited to offer my insights and support to fellow professionals in these respected fields.

With a real passion for ensuring the safety and empowerment of women of color, my aim is to reduce potential harm and accelerate impact through trauma-informed techniques.

Stay tuned for my new offerings!!!!

I just had the most wonderful experience as a staff member for Intimacy From The Inside Out! I was able to teach and support other therapist that are new to Couples Therapy with the IFIO model. I always leave these trainings so energized and excited about the work that is going into the world!

Change is a part of life!!!!

I often tell anyone that ask me for career advice to consider getting a Masters in Social Work. The Social Work profession really teaches one how to thing systemically and to see the big picture.

I've had my private practice since 2010! I have worked as little as 1 afternoon a week and as much as 35 client hours a week (I will never do that again! Burnout)

I've lately started offering consultations for therapist, coaches, business leaders and non-profit professionals. It's really cool how the systems thinking, therapy, training, and reading/studying are all starting to come together. I'm thrilled
