With more than 19 years of experience in senior living, Krystal Sanders brings both professional expertise and heartfelt dedication to her role as Executive Director at The Blair Memory Care of Cary.

Krystal’s journey in senior care began as a way to provide for her newborn son. What started as a job quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. Over the years, she discovered a deep sense of purpose in serving older adults and enhancing their quality of life. A decade ago, she transitioned into memory care — a decision that would ultimately define her career. Although she was initially unsure if it was the right path, Krystal soon realized that working with residents living with dementia was not only meaningful but truly where she was meant to be.

Today, Krystal is committed to leading with compassion, integrity, and a focus on family. Her philosophy centers on the belief that it takes a village to provide the highest quality of care — one built on trust, teamwork, and a genuine sense of community. Under her leadership, Blair Memory Care of Cary strives to be more than a residence; it is a warm and supportive home for both residents and staff.

Beyond her professional life, Krystal is the proud mother of two sons, Maleek (19) and Elijah (11). In her spare time, she enjoys interior design, reading, and shopping.

Krystal’s leadership is defined by empathy, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to creating an environment where residents, families, and team members feel valued, supported, and truly at home.
