We went ADVENTURING! 🌲

Our Achievers went out to explore Dorothea Dix Park and see the one of a kind, giant trolls!

Created by internationally renowned ‘recycle art activist’ Thomas Dambo, these larger-than-life trolls are both playful and thought-provoking. Built of reclaimed wood and tucked into the trees, the trolls invite visitors to ponder environmental stewardship and the importance of preserving our natural world. ✨

Join us for Destination Discovery to grow your language, fine motor, gross motor, and social skills through purposeful play and peer-to-peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. 🪴

This program also brings families together to share experiences and build relationships! ✨

🌟 Activities will be split up into two smaller groups for ages 3-6 and 7-11.

Whether it’s stepping in to help program leaders get set up before a class, volunteering in the kitchen, or greeting everyone with a smile, he reminds us every day that being helpful, supportive, and kind can have a powerful impact on everyone around us.

🎊 Volunteer Spotlight - Julia

Since Julia started volunteering with GiGi’s in November of 2025, she’s demonstrated quality care and dedication to our Playhouse. Taking up a leadership role in Chat & Connect Club, a specific skill building part for our improved Fantastic Friends model, her initiative led to participants who were typically less engaged becoming more engaged than ever before!

🌷 Playhouse Inspiration - GiGi’s Blooms

Our participants continue to grow their entrepreneurial and creative skills while sharing beauty throughout the community. We recently brought GiGi’s Blooms to Triangle Dairy Queen on Walnut Street, Wolfpack Sports Properties Partnership Summit in downtown Raleigh, and many of our friends and neighbors at the Cary Chamber of Commerce Business Expo. We are incredibly proud to be part of such a supportive and innovative community, and we are grateful for the many partners who continue to champion this meaningful work.

We're so grateful for our wonderful community and are thrilled to celebrate their INCREDIBLE impact! 🙌
