During the holidays, we often experience guilt if we try to set boundaries. I believe guilt-free boundaries can actually bring us closer to our loved ones! Read the full blog below

Most people set boundaries around time and money during the holidays…but almost no one sets boundaries around their energy . And it shows. If you’re snapping at your partner, feeling drained after events, or forcing yourself to “push through,” it’s not a personal failure; it’s a capacity...

After a low-key Thanksgiving, I felt the familiar pull of Black Friday and online deals. I did order a few things, but I also made it into a couple of stores and found I really enjoyed it. Trying things on and carrying bags out the door felt surprisingly grounding. It was a small but meaningful return to the real world.

It reminded me how important it is to create boundaries around screen time and online scrolling, especially during the holidays. Stepping away from the digital world, even for a little while, can help us feel more present, more connected, and more in control of our time and attention.

Ever walked into a holiday gathering already exhausted and wondered why you felt irritated, disconnected, or overwhelmed?

It’s not the event.
It’s your energy capacity.

This week’s article breaks down why your energy deserves just as much protection as your time and money — and how to set boundaries that actually work.

The holidays can bring out a lot of shoulds — how things should look, feel, or unfold. But most of those expectations come from Pinterest boards, commercials, or the quiet pressure to make things “perfect” for everyone else.

This week, I’m inviting you to slow down and look honestly at the season you’re actually in. Naming your reality — the good, the hard, and the in-between — can be the first step to creating a holiday that feels more peaceful and true to you.

Megan Giroux, counselor for women in Cary, NC, shares about the holidays. Your holiday season doesn't have to be driven by overwhelm and anxiety. When we approach the holidays from an idealized view, it comes with a heavy price tag on our social and emotional health. What if instead we create space

The start of the season often brings pressure to do and be everything.

This week, take a moment to notice the difference between the idealized version of your holiday season and the reality you’re living in right now.

Naming what’s true — without judgment — is the first step toward a season that actually feels aligned with who you are.

✨ What’s one aspect that’s part of your “ideal” that you are ready to let go of?
