Today we honor, reflect, and remember those who have died in service to our nation. This hits particularly home to Dr. Susan Rawls. Her father, USAF Major David I. Wright, was killed in Vietnam at the age of 35. The reconnaissance plane he piloted was shot down on November 13, 1970. He was known as a man of great intellect and wit. He was an avid golfer and a wonderful father to three girls.

We’re grateful for the freedom he, and so many others fought for, to gather and celebrate on this Memorial Day.
