We had so much fun extending the holiday celebrations at STIR last Friday! Though the holiday germs kept some from being able to attend, we enjoyed celebrating our awesome team with good food, good times, and a little white elephant fun thrown in! Happy 12 year anniversary to us!!! We started as a 1 room office in Cary in August 2012. One year later we moved to a larger location right down the road in order to serve more families. We expanded into Clayton in 2018, and into Morrisville in 2023. We have grown from a start up with 1 SLP to a team of 15 SLPs AND a top notch administrative staff. What a blessing it has been growing this amazing team and working with so many wonderful families along the way! We are so incredibly lucky! Here's to 12 more!

We love this! I would add DO get on your child’s level to play and interact and DO be silly and playful (children learn through play)! DO model names of common objects/toys/foods - these targets teach words that will help your child communicate their wants and needs. DON’T worry about academic concepts early on as they don’t specifically help young children express their wants and needs. Above all, just play! Interact! Have fun! ❤️
