At New Horizons Women’s Care, we not only deliver healthy babies, we provide service on a personal level. A play area for children.

Our physicians have combined expert care with a level of compassion that can only come through an unwavering dedication to women's health (OB/GYN). Patients are our priority and we serve them at one of our four branch offices in the Southeast Valley and in Casa Grande. Depending upon the location you visit, you might find a Wi-Fi café and coffee bar in the waiting area. Satellite TV’s in the examining rooms. Or pagers that conveniently let you know when your physician is available. Our Chandler location also offers a first-class Med Spa providing state-of-the-art skin care and laser treatments.

As we close out Breast Cancer Awareness Month, here is your sign to get checked!

Mammograms are the best tests doctors have to find breast cancer early, sometimes up to three years before it can be felt.

The general rule of thumb is that if you’re over 40 you should be sure to schedule a mammogram once a year. If you’re younger than 40, it is still a good idea to check with your doctor about getting a mammogram as some patients may be at more of an increased risk than others.

Be sure to schedule your well woman exam and mammogram and cross that off your to-do list this fall!

Are you struggling with hot flashes? Here are some ways to manage them and decrease their frequency:

▫️Get plenty of sleep
▫️Quit smoking

If you’re trying to choose between an OBGYN physician or a midwife for your medical team, there is no right or wrong answer. It depends on factors such as the type of care and birthing experience you want and the risk level of your delivery.

When making this decision, be sure to keep your risk level in mind. If you have a high-risk pregnancy with a concern for serious complications, you need the skill of an OBGYN to keep you and the baby safe. If you have no preexisting conditions and your pregnancy is low-risk, a midwife may be a great option for prenatal care for you.
