Dental care is expensive and the majority of those Upper Valley MEND serves do not have dental insurance. Recently, Katie got the help she needed, thanks to generous community members.

"After ignoring my dental needs long enough due to fears of how much it would cost to fix my mouth, I've simply gone in and put out fires when there has been pain," Katie said.

Katie started her journey toward dental health by working with Upper Valley MEND Dental Program manager Terri Weiss. With financial help from MEND, Katie had two teeth extracted at MEND partner Cashmere Family Dentistry.

"I would never had taken the leap had Terri not kindly helped get me going! Thank you Terri and MEND for ALL you do for those in the community!"

Congratulations to our wonderful, gorgeous, funny, amazing Sara!! She is marrying the man of her dreams, Nathan, this Saturday!! As of today, Sue’s retirement count down is officially 3 weeks!!! She is splitting time between our Cashmere and Wenatchee offices to teach the next generation how to do things right! Thank you Sue for everything!
