Did you know you have access to world-class vascular care right here in Casper?

Deep Venous Thrombosis, commonly referred to as “DVT,” can be a limb and life-threatening vascular condition, presenting as rapid onset of leg pain, skin color changes, and swelling.

The multidisciplinary team at WIVA comprises interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, and certified physician assistants, who are experts in diagnosing both acute and chronic DVT.

If you're experiencing acute limb pain, swelling, and color changes (the typical signs of DVT) go immediately to the emergency room.

If your symptoms are longstanding and you have a history of severe DVT, ask for a referral from your primary physician to WIVA. Call 307-577-1003 for your appointment and learn more at https://bit.ly/4c0QOVF

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and we love how the Colon Cancer Coalition has taken aim at de-stigmatizing colon cancer screenings by talking about them. In fact, we think it's the 💩!

In all seriousness, Outpatient Radiology is on board and here to support colorectal cancer detection with CT imaging. Our team performs CT (Virtual) colonoscopies to help detect masses that may be cancerous. A CT colonoscopy is typically ordered for patients who have had a failed colonoscopy or an abnormal colonoscopy that requires further evaluation of a mass. The exam is also appropriate for patients taking blood thinners who cannot have a routine colonoscopy.

Talk with your doctor today to see if a CT colonoscopy is right for you, then schedule with our expert team today at https://bit.ly/3LNXeeo Most of all, keep talking about it!

Are you on a GLP-1? A Total Body Composition DEXA Scan can support your progress!

While GLP-1 medications can help you lose weight, your bathroom scale doesn’t tell the whole story, especially when it comes to lean muscle mass (what you DON'T want to lose).

A Total Body Composition DEXA scan, offered at Outpatient Radiology, shows exactly where you stand in your weight-loss journey. By measuring fat, muscle, and bone density, you can make sure weight loss isn’t coming at the expense of muscle or bone loss. With clear, detailed insights, you can adjust nutrition, strength training, and treatment plans to protect muscle, support metabolism, and see real progress beyond the bathroom scale.

If you’re on a GLP-1, you don't have to guess. Together, we can provide the accurate details you need for your weight-loss journey by helping you establish a baseline and measure progress. Schedule today by calling (307) 232-5012.

More and more people at a younger age are at risk for heart disease. In fact, nearly 90% of adults in the United States over age 20 are at risk. Luckily, there is a simple scan that tells you everything your heart can't.🫀

A CT Calcium Score, which is a coronary calcium scan, offers powerful insight into your risk of heart disease. It is used to check for calcium buildup in the arteries that supply the heart, providing an accurate risk assessment for heart disease and enabling early diagnosis.

At OPR, we offer this self-referred scan without a doctor's referral for only $150 out-of-pocket! To qualify, patients must be:

1. Between the ages of 40 and 75.
2. At increased risk for heart disease without symptoms. Risk factors include:
- Family history of heart disease
- Smoking history
- Overweight
- Sedentary lifestyle
- High LDL cholesterol
- Low LDL cholesterol
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes

Schedule your appointment at our OPR main campus at (307) 232-5012.
