February is Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) Awareness Month. AMD affects nearly 11 million people in the US and is the leading cause of blindness and permanent visual impairment. While there is no cure, Jensen Eye Care is committed to the prevention and preservation of vision loss through early detection, education, and continued eye health monitoring.

To all of our valued patients,

We are working hard to remain open and continue serving you all through this trying time. In order to do so we are asking any patient experiencing common symptoms of or who have been exposed to someone experiencing common symptoms of COVID-19 to call and reschedule your appointment. Additionally, if you or someone you have been in direct contact with have recently returned from travel outside the state or country, please refrain from coming into the office. If you are scheduled for an appointment, we ask that you limit the number of people accompanying you to 1 to minimize the traffic coming through the office. If you wish to have your glasses or contacts mailed to you, we would be happy to do so at no additional charge.

Given the circumstances, we will also have temporary changes in our hours of operation effective Monday April 6th through Friday May 1st. The hours are as follows: Mon.-Wed. 8:30am-5pm, Thurs. 9:15am-5pm, Fri.-CLOSED. Closed daily from 12pm-1pm for lunch.
