🌾 Tough Doesn’t Have to Mean Silent 🐎🤠

As the agricultural population has shrunk, rural towns have thinned out, community support has faded, and mental-health resources have become harder to reach. Combine that with a culture that prizes toughness and privacy, and the result is isolation that can turn deadly.

Earlier this month, our Ropes & Roses Therapy Services crew gathered for a wonderful Volunteer Appreciation Party — hosted by the incredible Jenny Hunter at her beautiful home. 💕

It was a day filled with laughter, connection, gratitude, and a reminder of how much heart our volunteers bring to everything we do. Whether you help in sessions, support events, care for the horses, or simply show up with kindness and enthusiasm — you make Ropes & Roses the special place it is. 🐴✨

Volunteer Enrichment Day at Ropes & Roses Therapy Services🐴💆‍♀️

We host volunteer enrichment and training once a month, giving our team the chance to learn new skills, connect with the horses, and grow together.

This is Nova, our therapy cat at the clinic. We haven’t seen her for a couple of days. She is super friendly and does not have a collar. If you see her around the 10 Mile area, please give us a call at 307-267-7416. We have several clients very attached to her. We appreciate your help in finding our kitty.

We are so thankful for the students being able to join us! Our partnerships with Casper College Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions to bring healing to kids is one of our favorite activities of the summer.

Casper College OTA students are helping out Ropes and Roses Therapy Services and Central Wyoming Hospice at Grief camp this week. Student’s lead the campers through various stations including riding horses , art, drumming, planting flowers, and play. This therapeutic camp helps children learn to cope with loss and grief.

Just checking in. This weekend we had the opportunity to start working on the rails in our Courage Corral. Each message of hope/courage will be burned onto the rails of the arena. When you enter the Courage Corral, you will be surrounded by inspirational messages to give you courage to face challenges.

Big thanks to Alison, Kimberly, Margy, and Sheila for joining us at our May volunteer enrichment! We spent the day learning how to body score and assess condition, practiced saddle fitting, and checked the height and weight of all our horses. 🐎 Summer prep is in full swing! 🌞

🌟 2025 Kids Grief Camp 🌟
We’re honored to once again partner with Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions to host Kids Grief Camp June 2025—right here at Ropes & Roses Therapy Services.

This FREE 3-day camp offers healing, connection, and hands-on support for kids ages 6–16 who have lost a loved one in the past three years. From healing time with our therapy animals to guided grief activities, each day is filled with care, compassion, and community.
