🌟Client Spotlight🌟
Kristy has been with Pathfinder for the last two years. She was referred for balance deficits, general muscle weakness and dizziness. She underwent decompression for Chiari Malformation in the 1980’s and during this surgery it was found she had cerebellar compression. This led to the life long difficulties she has been having with balance, dizziness, and vision. Most recently she experienced a few TIA episodes as well. She was having numerous falls and would fatigue very quickly. She says, “It really bothered me and I had to stop walking due to the constant falling.”
Since starting therapy with Jacque, Kristy reports, “I have gotten stronger physically and my dizziness is better and not as frequent. I have improved from walking with a walker to walking with a cane. I haven’t fallen in a full year in May. I also feel like doing more and I’m not as scared to go out and do things independently. All the therapy has been great and targeted to my needs. Jacque is awesome and she pushes me, even on the days I don’t want to be pushed.”
Great job Kristy with all of your accomplishments, we are so proud of you!
