Some couples turn an ordinary drive into something worth remembering.

That’s Henni and her husband Elwyn, better known as Shuley. Married since 1961, they bring warmth, curiosity, and music wherever they go.

Henni is a lifelong learner who has worn many hats, from Girl Scout camp director to critical cardiac care nurse. She enjoys reading, quilting, being outdoors, and keeping things just the way she likes them. Music is always nearby, whether she’s singing or playing her lap harp.

That's what makes Edgewood so special. We've made it easy for Henni to find comfort in familiar routines and shared moments, especially the simple joy of cruising with Shuley, windows down, singing along to the radio.

But after all that traveling, he’s returned to a community that finally feels like home. One of Park Places favorite things to do is volunteer in our community. We get the privilege of calling Bingo at the Glenrock Senior Center once a month. Thank you to the Executive Director Rachel for letting us serve her senior population.
