Sabotage can be used with toddlers and young children. It's fun and silly, but heads up, if used too often it can be frustrating or confusing for kids. You know your kid best.

Anyone can do this and it often can turn into a fun game for kids and parents to engage in on a regular basis. Once kids figure it out, they love getting in on the silly fun. 

If you're having trouble getting your child to open up about what is happening in Kindergarten, try some sabotage!  The sillier the better! 

The more you know about your child's schedule, teacher, and friends, the easier it will be to make purposeful mistakes for them to fix. It also makes it easier to ask follow up questions that keep the conversation going!

Join us for a day of family fun the is enriched with learning and inclusive play for ALL children in the community including; music and movement, sensory play, adapted/inclusive art, motor play, inclusive literacy etc.

100% of the donations earned from this event will go towards building the first inclusive playground in Castle Rock, Colorado; Possibilities Playground in Butterfield Crossing Park.

Children and adults can greatly benefit from building in just a few basic strategies to their communication.

These strategies help increase articulation clarity, fluency, and communication effectiveness.

Pick one to start with and as it becomes part of habitual speech add on another.

Do you know the difference between breath support and breath control?

Breath Support is how you set up your body for airflow.
Breath Control is how you coordinate that airflow.

Working on both of these skills is important when working on fluency, voice, speech, and language.

Are you distracted? Breathe.
Are you tense? Breathe.
Are you nervous? Breathe.

If you feel like you’re struggling to support your breath you may need to adjust your body.

Your breath is connected to everything you do. It is a key component of confidence and communication.

While you’re here, now is a great time breathe. Take a big breath in, fill your abdomen and slowly stay for the full exhale. Do that a few times. You’ll feel a little better I promise😘
