Families ask about Vitamin K at birth. I recommend all babies get Vitamin K. There is solid evidence for giving it, and I have seen babies with this type of brain bleed. While we always respect a family's decision whether to give or not, we do recommend it be given.

Do you know that midwives provide annuals, GYN, and can order labs and ultrasounds for you? Visits can be in person or virtual if no exam is needed

I am now scheduling new and returning patients, including GYN and pregnancy care and birth. If I don't accept your insurance I can take your FSA/HSA card or I accept self pay clients as well. Currently accepting CDPHP, BCBS plans and UHC/Empire Plan.

Ibuprofen and other NSAIDS are not recommended in pregnancy. They can have serious consequences.

Ongoing research and expert reviews continue to support its appropriate use, and pregnant individuals can feel confident using it in consultation with their midwife or other healthcare provider.
