Just watched Como Agua Para Chocolate again…
And it hit different this time.

It reminded me of our abuelitas, nuestras ancestras…
Women who weren’t allowed to choose.
Who swallowed their dreams and desires para cumplir con lo que la familia esperaba.
But still—
They found magic in la cocina,
In their rituals, in their silence.

They cried into their caldo,
And healed with hierbas.
Their love, their heartbreak, their power…
all infused into every bite, every prayer, every decision they could make.

Y aquí estamos nosotras—
Healing what they couldn’t say out loud.
Saying no when they had to say yes.
Living the dreams they never got to name.

This is sacred.
Esto es ancestral.

🕯✨ Your healing is your lineage remembering it’s safe to dream again.
