We will be running our usual routes tomorrow on Veterans Day. Other than during inclement weather, the only days WOTM does not run are New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

In response to the uncertainty of food benefits and rising costs of living, Wahkiakum on the Move will be going fare-free until at least the New Year. We will still take donations, but you will not need money or passes to ride the Longview-Naselle routes. Local routes have ALWAYS been free.

Beginning tomorrow, Nov 5th, all WOTM routes will be fare-free until at least 2026. Stay tuned for possible updates in late December / early January.

We hope this helps ease the burden and we thank you for riding with us.

We’ll be there this Friday!

Living Well almost here! Come see dozens of great resources, including Department of Health’s Care-a-Van! This year they’ll be walk-in only, first-come, first-served, so make sure you get here early!

Services will include:
-blood pressure and vision screenings for ages 3 years +
-blood glucose screenings for ages 12 years +
-A1C testing for ages 35 years +
-BMI and telehealth for ages 2 years +
-mental health screenings for ages 12 years +
-health and vaccine education for all ages

Please bring proof of insurance if available.

When: November 7th 11am-2pm
Where: The Hope Center in Cathlamet

We’ll be there tomorrow to teach the youth about bus options from Cowlitz to Pacific 🚍

Tomorrow is Wahkiakum High School’s health fair! Health & Human Services will be out there along with Wahkiakum on the Move and Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments Transportation Program.

WorkSource Vancouver and Cowlitz/Wahkiakum - serving Southwest Washington will be here to share about exciting career and training opportunities 👷🏻‍♀️

Lower Columbia PFLAG will join us with lots of great resources and event information!

A Health Care Authority representative will also be available to talk about Apple Health enrollment.
