Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home

Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home Founded in 1926, the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home is a 4th generation business located in Catskill Millspaugh Camerato Hoyt.

For 100 years the Millspaugh and Camerato families have provided Greene County with professional, compassionate and affordable funeral services. Millspaugh Funeral Home has come a long way from its early beginnings to a well-respected funeral home serving all cultures, faiths and religions. Both Peter Hoyt and Nick Camerato realize they would not be able to carry on the traditions and standards originally set by Harry Millspaugh, Henry and Clarice Millspaugh and Mary Millspaugh Camerato Hoyt, if it were not for the dedication of their entire staff. All of our employees at Millspaugh Camerato realize the depths of compassion and integrity needed to help families at their time of loss. Being a funeral director has always been more a calling than a profession. The directors at Millspaugh Camerato are able to arrange national and international transfers, pre-arrangements and cremations, as well as traditional funerals and memorial services. The first Millspaugh Funeral Home was founded at 40 Summit Avenue in 1926 by the late Harry and Lucy Tesch Millspaugh. In 1929, they moved to 175 Grandview Avenue and in 1942 moved to 257 Main Street. Their son, Henry, and grandson, Harry, began renovations of their fourth location and current residence in 1968. In July of 1991 the Millspaugh Funeral Home became the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home, indicating the passing of the torch to the next generation: Henry and Clarice Millspaugh's daughter, Mary F. For over 21 years Mary dedicated her life to the family business and the community of Catskill. In November 2012, following Mary’s untimely death, her son Nick Camerato became the 4th generation to own the family business. Mary’s husband, Peter Hoyt also remains active in the day to day operations. The loss of a loved one is one of life’s most meaningful and challenging moments. At Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home, we are committed to providing professional, compassionate, and affordable care to support families before, during, and after loss. Whether planning ahead, arranging services at the time of need, or seeking aftercare guidance, we are here for you every step of the way. Our experienced staff offers thoughtful guidance for burial and cremation options, with services available at our funeral home, your place of worship, or in the comfort of your home. Our newly updated merchandise center features a wide selection of affordable caskets, burial and urn vaults, cremation urns, jewelry, and keepsakes presented in a spacious, contemporary setting. Proudly known as Catskill’s newest and oldest funeral home, we honor our longstanding traditions while embracing modern facilities and personalized services. Our family and professional staff are always available in person, by phone, or online to serve you with dignity, respect, and care.

Valentine’s Day can be a tender reminder of someone you love and deeply miss.

While this day is often centered around joyful moments and celebration, it can also be a time to quietly reflect on the love you shared and the memories that remain close to your heart. You may choose to honor their memory in a meaningful way, or you may simply move through the day gently, one moment at a time.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve on Valentine’s Day. The most important thing is to do what feels right for you. ♥♥
