Please respect the State Land signs that say “Do Not Enter.”

Unfortunately, several of my mesquite and desert bloom hives were damaged this week from dirt bikes kicking through the area and side-by-sides dusting out the hives. When that happens it can destroy colonies and sets us back quite a bit. 🐝

My mom will be helping supply me with honey for now while I work on rebuilding my hives, and I truly appreciate everyone’s patience while I dealt with this over the past week.

He does not get honey from us.
The honey he sells is not from our hives.

Last year, ongoing confusion about affiliation significantly impacted my business and nearly forced me to close my stand due to loss of sales.

In addition to the business confusion, there have been repeated instances of inappropriate and unprofessional behavior directed toward me while I am operating my stand, including unsolicited comments and drive-bys meant to make his presence known. These incidents have been documented

This is a small, family-run operation. I work hard to be here year-round. If you value having us here, please help spread the word that we are not connected in any way.

With a heavy heart, Off The Hive AZ will also be closed today (Friday) in Rio Verde as I take a little more time to grieve the loss of my sweet Bella.

She wasn’t just a dog. She was family. Fifteen years of love is a lifetime, and my heart just needs a little more time.
