“We didn’t set out to open a preschool. We set out to support families. But the need was too great to ignore.”

At Healthy U, we’ve always believed in meeting our community where it’s at. In recent years, that’s meant shifting our focus—responding to a growing child care crisis that has left far too many families in Southern Oregon without safe, reliable, nurturing options for their children.

Our program, All Around Kids Community Preschool was born from that need, and it continues to grow because the crisis continues.

We’re honored to be featured in this short film put out by Southern Oregon Early Learning Services, which lifts up the voices of families, caregivers, and changemakers across the region—including our own Chelsea Hamblin.
