Our Cedar City HDC crew brought the energy to the Storybook Parade last weekend! 🎭✨
Some of our clients and staff joined the Looney Tunes float that HDC sponsored, while others suited up as superheroes—handing out candy, high-fiving kids, and feeling like total kid-celebrities (and maybe a little sweaty in those costumes 😅).
After the parade, we jumped right into another act of service—helping clean up the Fall Harvest decorations downtown. 💪 Our clients went strong from 8 AM to 4 PM!
Thanks to Tia (One of our therapists in Cedar) for helping make this happen.

Sometimes healing looks like getting your hands a little dirty. Today in day treatment, we made ceramic pots — a grounding exercise to help us slow down, connect to the earth, and focus on what’s right in front of us. Each pot will soon hold a cactus for our graduates — a reminder to stay rooted and keep growing, even in tough conditions. 🌵

Yesterday our Cedar City clients had the opportunity to visit Southwest Technical College as part of our day treatment program! ✨

They explored new career pathways, discovered resources to help reach our goals, and even learned about job opportunities available right here in our community. 🙌 ⛰️ 🏫

Paula Baldwin (HDC Cedar Case Manager) said our clients loved the experience and they even had job opportunities while there! And that they left feeling inspired about what their futures can hold. 💙
