Bringing it all together this December!

First off we want to give a big thank you to all of you who have brought in food donations. This time of year can be stressful for families and we appreciate our caring clients who have helped contribute. I think this has been our most successful food drive to date!

This is the month we all wait for! We have been putting on this annual gift certificate sale for about 5 years and we love it! It only lasts 2 weeks so be sure to jump on this sale!

Once in a while I come across a Color Country friend we haven't seen since we moved locations, I just want to let you know we are loving our space we have now been in for 2 years and while we updated the name when we moved from our upstairs location we are still the same, just in a nicer spot to the north of Arctic Circle, facing main street with a walk out entrance! (yep, no stairs) If you haven't had a chance to see our new space, stop in and the staff would be happy to give you a tour!

Tips for Staying healthy this winter:
Did you know that sugar is the number one reason for a low immune system in the winter?
1. Sweet Treats are wonderful when they are enjoyed with a smile! So enjoy a treat during this season, but let your family know it's ok to slice the pie in smaller pieces

Our new friend Melanie with Whispering Oasis Energy is putting on a Sound-Bath healing event in our beautiful salt cave! In ancient times practitioners would use cupping, water, light and sound to heal the body and restore balance to the energy systems.

Welcome November!

Welcome November, full of time changes, weather changes, holidays, family get togethers, food, fun and of course time for you!

I was so surprised when I realized November had come! Seems to have snuck up on us and it is so amazing all the cool things ahead that come with this time of year.

At Color Country Holistic Spa we recognize this time of year can be stressful and fun all at the same time. Here are some great ways to help manage stress as the season progresses.

1. Meal prep - Taking a weekend to prep your weekly meals is a great way to keep the stress of what's for dinner at bay while freeing up your time to spend time with family or work on projects
2. Take a walk - This time of year is great! the wind has died down and for the most part the temperatures have been very lovely! Getting outside and taking advantage of the fresh air and sunshine can go a long way to reducing stress levels, as well as boost your immune system.
3. Massage Therapy - Did you know that stress can cause your blood sugar levels to rise? It can also cause indigestion and headaches etc... Massage Therapy has been shown to reduce stress and tension
