We had the privilege of hearing Roman Frackiewicz share “The Journey of a Polish POW: 1939–1945,” the incredible story of his father, Zygmunt Frackiewicz.

Roman walked us through years of research that helped uncover his father’s full history—one that included being captured by the Russian Army, held as a POW in multiple German camps, and ultimately surviving unimaginable hardship.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to hear this powerful, personal piece of history. Thank you, Roman, for honoring your father by sharing his journey with us.
