I see so many precious moments figurines for sale on Facebook, consignment shops, and thrift stores. If you can't get rid of yours or like to do crafts, take a look at some of these groups where people alter the figurines to something else they like. Neat idea if you or your clients are into figurines.

It was fun to work with my mom to design the storage for the HUGE pantry in her and my stepdad's new house. This pantry is huge! My husband made the design come to fruition. I appreciate his many talents. fowler

Tip- When my kids were little, I used all the same type of bottles, then all the same sippy cups, and now only use water bottles with NO straws. It is easier than matching random parts to the correct cup and extra parts that may melt in the dishwasher. Also, both my kids had acid reflux and their gastroenterologists recommended to never use a straw. We get too much air with straws which promotes acid reflux AND everyone drinks more with a straw. Some kids fill up on empty calories or just get full on water. You are welcome for the organizing tip and second hand medical advice!

It's all a bit too much. Let's make this holiday season slow and simple. Maybe don't attend all 3 Thanksgiving and 5 Christmas gatherings if it is stressful or not enjoyable. Make your own family traditions. Schedule a get together during a slower season. Buy fewer presents for kids and agree to a good meal with adults. Spend time together and less money. Love the ones you're with.
