And there is something incredibly powerful in that.💥
For a lot of us, we’re the first women in our family line to prioritize exercise during motherhood.
Not because the women before us weren’t strong, but because culture was different — the impact of exercise for women was less understood, support for mothers was harder to find, and the attitude that “mom comes last” was still far too common.
A generation ago, only about 1 in 10 women exercised regularly.
Today, it’s closer to 1 in 4.
And while that number still has a loooong way to go, communities that make movement easier and more accessible for moms are part of why it keeps growing. 💪🏼
When you show up for a workout, push the stroller for a run, or carve out an hour for yourself… you’re not just doing something for you.
You’re creating a ripple effect. 🌊
Your kids grow up seeing that taking care of your body matters. That community matters. That moms deserve support, strength, and space for themselves too.
And one day, it won’t feel revolutionary for the next generation of moms.
It’ll just feel normal. 🩷
