If you had told me 10 years ago that My Pure Delivery’s opening day would lead to a decade of passionate professionals coming through this practice, I wouldn’t have been able to picture it. How fitting that this 2016 trend is happening on our anniversary.

Each one of these faces has made an impact on me, and on this business. Some stayed for a season, some have been with me for many years. But all share the same mission of better care for families.

So thank you all for helping to shape our culture, our care, and the thousands of families we’ve supported. I’m deeply grateful for every chapter and every person who helped write it. 🤍

Robyn has officially finished her MPD training and is now taking appointments on her own at our Plano clinic!

We like to celebrate our babies "graduating" from lactation care, but what about our LCs? Even seasoned IBCLCs like Robyn train for 2-3 months with us, to ensure that our care is consistent and of the highest quality. With Robyn, there is no doubt. She's been amazing since day one! 👩‍🎓

As mothers witnessing the aftermath of the floods, we feel a deep ache in our hearts for the unimaginable losses so many are facing.

We all know the importance of coming together and supporting our community during this time. We've cooked meals, we've donated time, money, or needed items. We also need permission to just feel the helplessness and the weight of it all.

There’s something unique about the way mothers carry the world. Not just our own, but the worlds of others too. We can see another woman holding her child in the rubble and immediately feel the ache as if it were our own. It's instinctual empathy, the invisible connection mothers have with one another.

So go ahead and grieve for families in Kerrville you’ve never met. Cry over the feelings of safety and security that were washed away with everything else. Feel the anxiety that this happened close to home and that disaster can strike without warning, and hold your loved ones a little tighter tonight.

In times like this, even if you don’t know what to do or don't have anything extra to help, love is the most powerful response. A mother's compassion and tears are a form of solidarity and what helps our community begin to heal.

Let yourself feel it. And if you're able, turn that feeling into something that reminds another mother that she is not alone.
