We are sharing a list of community resources for families who may be impacted by the Gov't shutdown and a delay in certain benefits. If you are aware of any additional resources, please share them in the comments.

It is a good idea to contact the organization directly to confirm current hours of operation and any documentation that they may require.

Updates to list:
-The Salvation Army of Carteret County is located at 2800 Bridges Street, Morehead City. They serve hot meals in and around Carteret County as well.

-Bethlehem Methodist Church in Bogue has a food pantry

-Matthew 25-St James Church Newport current hours of operations:
Tuesday & Thursday 10-4, Saturday 10-1.

The American Red Cross is hosting a Blood Drive this Wednesday, October 29th from 2 PM – 6 PM at the Swansboro Recreation Center.

There are still appointments available!
