The team at The Crow's Nest deserves a massive THANK YOU for making National Semicolon Day with The Crow's Nest a success! Six artists worked non-stop so all 138 attendees could get their selected tattoo in honor of mental health and su***de prevention. We greatly appreciate the time, energy and passion that went into our first semicolon tattoo event in Dubuque! 💜

We recently went to the Maquoketa Community School District Teen Health Fair and Active Minds Kirkwood You Matter Walk. Every opportunity to talk about the 24/7, free and confidential mental health support we provide is important.

If you have a community event you'd like us to attend, please email info@foundation2.org.

Yesterday was AMAZING. We are so proud of how Dubuque showed up for National Semicolon Day with The Crow's Nest!

Listening to people's reasons for getting a semicolon tattoo was incredibly impactful. Some honored children they had lost to su***de. Others honored their own journey with mental health. Still others got a tattoo to signal to others they are a safe person to talk to about thoughts of su***de and mental health concerns.

We can't express how awesome the artists and staff at The Crow's Nest are! They worked tirelessly until everyone who showed up had gotten their tattoo. They truly showed up for the Dubuque community, and we greatly appreciate their partnership to be a trusted support when life gets tough for all people, any time, every time.
