Foundation 2 Crisis Services Foundation 2 Crisis Services is a 24/7/365 crisis mental health and suicide prevention nonprofit. All services are free and confidential. All people. Any time.

Founded in Cedar Rapids, IA in 1970, we have provided mental health crisis support and suicide prevention/intervention services to Iowans for more than 50 years. Services include crisis phone, text, and chat support; mobile crisis outreach; mental health law enforcement liaisons; emergency youth shelter; and supportive services for youth aging out of foster care. Safety securing or removing access to fi****ms is one of the most effective ways to reduce su***de risk for individuals at an increased risk of attempting su***de. Thank you to Linn County Public Health, the Cedar Rapids Police Department and Project ChildSafe for making gun locks free and accessible.

LINN COUNTY, Iowa – Linn County Public Health (LCPH) is partnering with the Cedar Rapids Police Department (CRPD) and Project ChildSafe to provide free gun locks in harm reduction vending machines located throughout Linn County.
