Owner and practitioner, Courtney Bergen, is a massage therapist, esthetician and lash technician providing every service you need to look and feel your best. Růže is a tribute to Courtney’s family, the Ruzicka’s, who are immigrants from Czechoslovakia that settled in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1910. Ruzicka, meaning rosebud in Czech, inspired the name Růže meaning rose, a nod to Courtney’s Czech heritage and the embodiment of her personal and professional growth from a rosebud into a fully bloomed rose. Růže is knowing where you came from and blooming into a creation of your own.

Testing out a new skincare line to see if it’s Ruze Spa worthy—all while snacking on some sour grapes 🍇 and brainstorming new menu items for you all. Gotta hustle and relax, right?

I treated myself to a massage earlier (yes, I massage myself so I can keep functioning through this busy weekend 🙃), and now I’m icing my shoulder while letting this mask do its magic. This is my version of balance tonight—rest, repair, and a little indulgence.
