If you’re a long term client of mine you already know this about me, but it’s a good time to post again as a reminder!
I almost never cancel on my clients, but there are a few exceptions. #1: Sickness- if im feeling sick, the last thing you want is me touching you I promise! I expect clients to cancel in the event of fever or sickness, and have the same standard for myself. I have clients who are immunocompromised and am directly in contact with lots of people. If you come in knowing you’re sick, I’ll probably send you home and you’ll lose your deposit. #2: Emergencies -life happens, we lose people (and pets)kids break their arms, trees fall on cars - you get it 😉 and the reason for today’s post… #3: The weather. I’ll admit it, I am a we**ie when it comes to winter driving. If there is a blizzard warning, bad road conditions, or dangerously low temps and the news says not to leave the house, it’s probably safe to assume I will cancel any appointments for that day. Your safety and health, along with my own come first!
If you have to cancel or reschedule for any of these reasons, I will never charge you a cancellation fee, and in the event that I have to cancel for any of these reasons I will refund any deposits!

New at Integrated Bodywork: Pay Over Time! Because massage therapy should be accessible to everyone! This time of year can be hard on people. Life happens, finances get tight, jobs change, unexpected bills pop up, etc but pain doesn’t care. Stress feeds chronic pain, which just leads to more stress and pain and before you know it, you’re stuck in a vicious cycle. I know how it goes, and I know the benefits of therapeutic massage and its effects on stress and pain management. Hopefully this makes it a little easier to get that much needed self care 💚 this option is available for any service.

We’ve got some new talent at Elevate on Edgewood and they are both fantastic!!! Kara (pronounced Car 🚗 -uh) is a recent Carlson grad, and Erica has been licensed for about 5 years and went to massage school in Florida! Both are passionate about education and devoted to growth! They’re also taking appointments and have immediate openings! I couldn’t be more proud of the team we have! I know a lot of people are looking for massages,and it can be hard to get in on my schedule. I’ve had multiple massages by each of them and would absolutely refer anyone to them!
