We had an amazing time at Playa Muejras for Hibu’s Presidents Club trip! For those of you that don’t know- by day I am a digital marketing consultant for Hibu. Every year they take their top 5% sales rep on the President’s Club trip. I have been lucky enough to win 5 times out of my 8 years with the company. All while making and raising 2 babies, having the body temper business, keeping my physical fitness in check, and trying to maintain my sanity!

I am officially back and taking sessions for this weekend! DM me or text if you’re looking for some body work!

The best and easiest way to describe how you feel after a body tempering session is your body is finally relaxed and in alignment. Your neck feels longer, shoulders are rolled back, chest open, no posterior or anterior tilt on the pelvis and the legs…well the legs are legging. Hamstrings are lengthened, knees aren’t crunchy, and the feet are grounded.

If you’re “woo woo” like me, I treat body tempering somewhat “spiritual”. Meaning I love using breathing techniques while being tempered. I visualize the blood, oxygen, nutrients coursing through and hydrating my muscles and joints. And I know my fascia is happy and having the best time.

Everyone’s experience is different, make it your own but if I could recommend one thing is focus on your breathing. And feel free to tell me to shut up, because if you’ve been tempered by me you know I love to talk 😬

Tight muscles = not always a strength problem
Sometimes it’s your fascia 👀
And this fixes it.
Tightness and knots are not always triggered by lifting heavy. Stress, poor posture, sitting a lot, all can cause your fascia to tighten, stick, and restrict movement, leading to that constant “why do I feel so tight?” feeling.

That’s where body tempering comes in.
We don’t just chase soreness… we fix the root of it.

Had a new client in this week. She’s in prep for her bikini comp in August so she’s pushing her body to some limitttts!

We did a quick 30 minute session focusing on the posterior chain to get everything loose, relaxed, and ready to rock.

A lot of people come to me with long term issues- neck pain, back pain, etc and I really wish one session would fix you but it’s not that simple. Just like one leg day isn’t going to give you the dumpy of your favorite influencer. It’s a process that will take lots of stretching, moving, mobilizing, and deep tissue work. If we both do our parts then it will work, stay consistent and trust the process.

That’s enough Tony Robins motivation for the day. ✌️

Strong athletes aren’t just built in the weight room-they’re built in recovery.

For youth athletes, proper tissue work and recovery can help:
• Improve mobility
• Support growing bodies
• Reduce tightness from repetitive training
• Keep them moving confidently in-season and off-season

Body tempering is safe, controlled, and customized to each athlete’s age, sport, and training load.

Parent or guardian must be present during the session and a signed waiver is required prior to treatment.

Your fascia is the hidden network that holds everything together.

When it gets stiff or dehydrated, you don’t just feel “tight” you feel restricted, heavy, and off.

Body tempering + intentional movement helps restore glide between layers so your muscles can actually do their job.

Healthy fascia = smoother movement, better lifts, fewer nagging aches.

Your body was designed to move well. Let’s keep it that way.

POV: You thought you were just “a little tight.”
Your fascia: absolutely not.
Good Temper: we got you. 💪🏼

Strong bodies deserve smart recovery.

Body tempering isn’t just about “rolling out.” It’s strategic, heavy compression that tells your nervous system it’s safe to relax so you can lift heavier, recover faster, and move without that tight, stuck feeling.

Less tension.
Better performance.
Stronger you.

Book your session and feel the difference. 💪

Something about winter and weather changes tend to aggravate my knee. I’ve read into it a lot and some people/sites say it’s barometric pressure dropping. When the pressure drops there is less pressure on your body from the air which can cause swelling. It makes sense but if you have any other theories shoot them my way.

Things I’ve been doing to help-
Up my water intake
Movement and walking
Stretching and standing more at work
Most obvious one is tempering- which seriously alleviates it right away for a few days until she flares back up again on the next cold front!

If you’re looking for some relief from tight muscles and joints due to anything (not just the barometric pressure 😂) tempering will significantly help you move better!

It’s January, which means we’re all suddenly gym people again- lifting heavier, moving more, and aggressively chasing fitness goals.

That also means we’re about to be very sore.

So before you try to foam roll it away and call it recovery… cue body tempering-the slightly uncomfortable, extremely effective way to beat soreness and keep your body moving.

If you struggle from immobility and soreness, call me!
