Powell Chiropractic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is a Functional Neurology and Family Chiropractic Care Clinic. Dr. Mike Powell is a nationally recognized Chiropractic Neurologist (there are only about 350 in the world). He sees a diverse patient population. Many of his patients are sent from other doctors and travel from out of the area for neurological care. His patients range from children with developmental and learning problems to adults who suffer from migraines, vertigo, tremors or the effects of brain injury. Dr. Kourtne Shanahan is especially talented in working with children and mothers. She sees many women during their pregnancies. Dr. Shanahan also has advanced training in Clinical Nutrition.

Hope you were able to see the Northern Lights last night! What a show! There is a chance to be able to see them again tonight! Dr Powell is heading to Boston today and will not be in the office Friday so he can attend the Chiropractic Congress meetings along with the other Iowa Chiropractic Society executive officers! Working for Chiropractic care and progress in Iowa! Dr Shanahan is in today and will be in office on Friday.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Cedar Rapids Fire Department for helping us on Friday!

While Dr Powell was in Des Moines working with the Iowa Chiropractic Society, we were in the office, our neighbor smelled smoke and called, they came in and literally saved the day!

All is good and all businesses are open! THANK YOU also to the CRPD and EMT that came to the call as well!
