✈️ Our 2026 “travels” have brought us to Italy with flavorful gelato, rich foods, the Winter Olympics and now fresh vineyards— and you’re invited to join!! 🍇🇮🇹

On Wednesday, February 18th, we will be hosting our Bella Notte event from 3:00p-6:00p with music, wine and Italian soda tasting and a community open house showcasing our available apartments!

Team Garnett Place hit the Senior Resource Fair in full travel mode ✈️🌍

We rolled in with the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫, turning the fair into a first-class experience, complete with themed snacks, sips, and giveaways celebrating our past, present, and future destinations. From takeoff to touchdown, everyone was on board with the theme, and once again Captain Tahlia and the Garnett crew proved why they’re always flying above the rest.

Next stop: wherever the fun takes us! 🧳✨

Before the month ended, we had to enjoy one last adventure in Japan with a Mid-Day Tea Social sampling new hot teas and for most, trying iced boba tea for the first time! 🌸🍵 We enjoyed socializing with one another and all the sweet treats so much, that at the end of the event we weren’t quite ready to end the party!! So we quickly switched over to a game night and we think it was just the perfect way to cap off the first month of the year! 🎲

Our next destination takes us to Italy and it’s safe to say, we are at the edge of our airplane seats to see what our activities and sales team has in store for us next! 🤩✈️🇮🇹

Thank you to Cedar Valley Humane Society for your partnership for 2026! 🐾 We are so excited to be having monthly visits from our new four-legged friend, Betty, and gathering together for a regularly scheduled afternoon craft of making tie blankets to donate to their cats and dogs as they head to their forever homes! 🏠🫶🏼

It’s special moments like these that remind us how special and important community is! 🤝

This year’s community theme has us so excited to “travel” the world from the comfort of our recliners, walkers and wheelchairs and enjoy new experiences together! ✈️ This month, we’ve been exploring and learning about Japan and are excited to end the month with this very special Tea Social and hope you will join us! 🇯🇵

On Saturday, January 31st we will be hosting a Mid-Day Tea Social inspired by Japanese tea ceremonies from 12:00p-2:00p! 🍵 We hope to see you there and we can’t wait to share our many worldly adventures to come!

It’s midnight somewhere, right??? 🤩🥳🥂 Today, we had our last social hour of 2025 to ring in the new year with the winter sunset as our countdown! 🌅 2025 was a great year of growth and so many incredible moments with our Garnett family and we can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for us next!!

We are always looking for new activity ideas to try and we think the sillier, the better! Special holidays always help us with this search and we just have to say, we think there might need to be more reindeer involvement in other holidays so we can bring out this ring toss again! 🦌
