I'd like to talk about something today that weighs heavily on my mind. It's something I've brought up before, but the issue continues to persist. Folks, there are A LOT of counterfeit oracle and tarot decks out there. Many times these decks look like a deck of playing cards. Here are some things that will tell you that you have a counterfeit deck:

👉 It's smaller than the orignal deck. It's going to be thinner and smaller.

👉 The card quality is inferior.

👉 The artwork is cropped from the original work.

👉 Sometimes the deck will be missing cards.

👉 There may be misspellings.

👉 You won't receive a guidebook, or the box will provide a QR code to a guidebook.

The last one is a big deal as I've had customers who say, "I bought this deck but I don't have a guidebook. How do I get one?" I then have to explain that the deck they purchased is likely a counterfeit, and that they would need to buy an authorized deck for a guidebook.

Please do your research before buying. Temu is not a great resource for tarot and oracle decks. I have established relationships with the publishers, so I ensure that I am purchasing authentic decks. In addition, I have demo decks so you can open the deck and see what you are purchasing.

Thanks all for reading. I care about you and want you to have the real thing! I also want to support the artists and authors who provide their work. If you buy counterfeit, artists and authors don't get paid.
