With the deadline for reservations passing yesterday, we are now looking forward to final preparations for our upcoming 250th Marine Corps Birthday Ball, next Saturday, November 8. It promises to be a night to remember. This will be the best-attended event we've hosted in over a decade. Our DJ will bring out some of your favorite dance music. Our silent auction offers something for virtually all budgets. Happy hour starts at 5:30 PM. We're looking forward to celebrating our milestone anniversary with you! See you at the Ball!

Our 250th Marine Corps birthday ball is two weeks from today. If you have not yet purchased your seats, please do ASAP. The deadline for reservations is Friday 10/31.

As a reminder, seats are limited. Marines can attend at no cost, and guests can attend for only $25.00. This is a milestone birthday, and many people have already made reservations. Don't get left out because you waited too long to reserve your seats!

I would like to give a warm and excited welcome to Bob Greene to the Marine Corps League Cedar Valley Detachment.

Bob, USN Rear Admiral (retired), is married and has 3 sons that are Marines.

He joined as an associate member and looks forward to community service, camaraderie, and fun that only Marines provide.

The Marine Corps League received a great opportunity from KCRG Channel 9 and invited us to be interviewed as part of their 'WE THE PEOPLE' segment.

Commandant Matrise and David Cork were interviewed Saturday, Sept 27th about the League and the Marine Corps Ball. The interview will air at 10:00pm in the KCRG Channel 9 Sunday night newscast with the recording being uploaded to their website afterwards.
