Spotlight: Environmental Wellness 🌱 🌳 🍁 🌼 🐝 🐠 🪺

The spaces we live in have a big impact on how we feel. At Meth-Wick, walking trails, natural beauty, and well-designed environments support calm, comfort, and clarity.

Environmental wellness is a key part of our new Dimensions of Wellness model—because a peaceful place can do wonders for your health.

Each October, Legacy Month invites Meth-Wick residents, families, and friends to honor the generosity that built our community and help shape what comes next. It's about more than fundraising; it's about impact, gratitude, and leaving something meaningful for future residents.

This year's focus is especially close to home: renovating Brendel Pond. A beloved gathering place for decades, the pond needs updates to preserve its beauty and improve sustainability so it can be enjoyed for years to come.

There are also many other meaningful ways to give—from campus beautification gifts honoring a loved one, to wish list items, flexible donation options, and long-term support.

Every contribution helps carry forward the vision that started Meth-Wick and keeps our community thriving.

Click over to our latest blog post and learn more about ways to leave a legacy.

Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia is one of the most meaningful — and often most challenging — responsibilities a family can face.

When daily caregiving becomes overwhelming, a memory care community can provide the safety, structure, and compassionate support your loved one deserves.

In our latest blog post, we share what sets memory care apart, the role of compassionate staff, and how families can find a place where their loved ones can live with dignity and connection.

At Meth-Wick, our dedicated memory care unit, Arbor Place, offers personalized care in a safe, home-like setting. Call 319-365-9171 or request a tour online to see how we can support your loved one's needs.

Discover how to choose the right memory care facility. Learn what to look for in care, environment, staff, and support for families.
