Hello and Happy Holidays,

As we rest in the stillness of this season, may we be reminded that every pause is
also a preparation.

In these final days of the year, may you practice svadhyaya (self-study) with compassion: noticing what this year has taught you, what has softened, and what is ready to be released.
There is no rush—only awareness.

Throughout 2025 I've turned to gratitude again and again and reflected on the lessons, wisdom and stumbles that this year has blessed me with.
I've also reminded myself that all that has happened isn't good or bad, it just "is".
Everything has had to happen to get me to this beautiful place that I am currently in.

As we begin to turn our gaze toward the New Year, we do so not from striving, but from sankalpa —an intention rooted in the heart rather than the ego.

May life's ebbs and flows arise gently, fueled by devotion rather than force, and may your practice on and off the mat in 2026 be one of consistency, honesty, and care.

Let this transition into 2026 be a moving meditation: inhaling gratitude for what has been, exhaling space for what is becoming.

Thank you for sharing this path with me—through breath, movement, reflection, and community.
I look forward to continuing on this beautiful path as we venture and practice together in the year ahead.

May we step into the New Year grounded, open, and aligned.

This is the time of year that I don’t really know what day it is.

One thing I do every year at this time, is take a deep dive into reflecting on the past year.

Highs
Lows
What went well
What really challenged me

I then prepare for what I need to work on in the next year.

I set my “word” or intention.
My “I am” statement.

2025, was “I am joyfully surrendering”

Not looking at life as good or bad, just as it is.

Cheers to wisdom, stumbles, joy, peace, knowledge and lessons learned 😎

The light within is the highest truth.
As the earth rests on the Solstice,

In the book Siddhartha, Hermann Hesse reminds us that wisdom is not something we collect—it’s something we live.
Siddhartha studies sacred texts, practices extreme discipline, follows teachers, and still feels incomplete. It isn’t until he stops searching outward that understanding begins to arise. 💫

The turning point comes at the river. The river doesn’t teach through words. It teaches through listening. It holds joy and sorrow, beginnings and endings, all at once. Nothing is rejected. Nothing is rushed. Everything belongs. 💫

In our own lives, we often think growth means becoming someone new. But Siddhartha shows us that awakening is actually about remembering wholeness—allowing every experience, pleasant or painful, to be part of the path.

As you move through your day, notice where you are striving or forcing. What if, instead, you listened? To your breath. To your body. To the quiet wisdom already flowing within you.

Like the river, you don’t need to hurry. You are already moving. You are already becoming. 🙏
