Mistakes don't jeopardize our salvation because Christ, not our works, made us right with God.
John 5:24
24 `Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
Life Lessons (Intouch)
When I examine the freedom, and the peace that comes with trusting Jesus as my , I am reassured of my eternal home.
We were all born with a nature inclined to sin. No amount of good works can change that. The day we trusted Christ as our Lord and Savior, we received a new nature , one born to please God. Our new status as God’s children is permanent because it is based on what Jesus did at the cross. Will we reflect that new nature all the time. The answer is no. But Christ work on the cross changed everything. And nothing can undo that spiritual rebirth that came through our faith in Him. Amen
