🌸 According to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF):
🌸 Women aged 40 to 74 should get a screening mammogram every 2 years.
🌸 Starting at age 40 is now the new standard recommendation for average-risk women.
🌸 If you have a family history or other risk factors, screening may need to begin earlier—talk to one of our trusted providers.
🌸 Mammograms can catch breast cancer early—before symptoms appear—when it’s most treatable.

✏️this means increased cases of influenza, covid, strep, and other respiratory infections

✏️ gentle reminder to wash hands thoroughly and often

✏️ fever of 100.4 or higher should be considered true fevers

✏️ general rule of thumb for returning to school (unless otherwise specified) is 24 hours after start of antibiotics OR 24 hours fever free (without fever suppressant)

✏️ rapid testing available in office

✏️ wearing a mask can help protect yourself and others if the community is experiencing heightened infections

✏️ come in for a visit or televisit if you or your family develop symptoms
