April is Occupational Therapy Month, and we are so grateful for the incredible OT team that serves our families at Achieving Milestones! 💙

🌟 We’re Hiring! Patient Care Coordinator 🌟

Do you have a heart for kids and a smile that people can hear through the phone? If so, we might have the perfect spot for you!

Our pediatric therapy clinic is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our amazing team. This role is so much more than answering phones and scheduling appointments — you’re often the first friendly voice and welcoming face families experience when they walk through our doors.

💙 What we’re looking for:
• Someone who truly loves kids and families
• A positive, team-first attitude
• A friendly, welcoming personality (smiles are required!)
• Someone who enjoys staying organized and helping things run smoothly
• Insurance experience is preferred but not required — we’re happy to train the right person!

At our clinic, culture matters. We believe in encouraging each other, celebrating wins (big and small), and creating a place where both our team and our patients feel supported and cared for.

🌸⏰ Don’t forget to SPRING FORWARD tonight! ⏰🌸
Daylight Saving Time begins tonight, which means we set our clocks forward one hour and gain a little more sunshine in the evenings! ☀️
While losing an hour of sleep can be tough (especially for our little ones!), the extra daylight gives us more time for bike rides, park trips, backyard play, and making memories with our families.
If your child struggles with the time change, try these quick tips:
• Start bedtime 15 minutes earlier tonight
• Keep your morning routine consistent
• Get plenty of sunlight and movement during the day

Help us give a big welcome to the newest member of our team, Dr. Karen Hanna, PT, DPT! 🎉

Karen earned her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from College of Saint Mary. She’s also a Certified Personal Trainer who loves helping kids build strength, confidence, and independence through movement.

Karen completed her final clinical rotation at Children’s Health and spent the past two years there observing and working in pediatric care.

Her passion for pediatrics comes from growing up with siblings half her age — giving her plenty of early practice keeping up with energetic kids!

When she’s not in the clinic, Karen is enjoying newlywed life after getting married this past November 💍

We are excited to have Karen join the team and start taking patients this May!

Let’s give a warm welcome to Ms. Aubrey! She is our newest OTR and we are so happy to have her on our team and a part of the AMPT family! With adding Aubrey to AMPT we now have some additional openings on our schedule and would love to help serve you and your child! Find out more about Aubrey here: Hi! I’m Aubrey Teodorczyk 🙂
I was born and raised in Nacogdoches and began my journey at Stephen F. Austin State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work. I then completed my Occupational Therapy Assistant degree at Tyler Junior College and have proudly served as a pediatric OTA for the past five years.
Most recently, I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with my Master’s in Occupational Therapy—an exciting milestone in my professional journey! I am also a certified DIRFloortime® specialist and have a deep passion for play-based intervention, child development, and helping every child reach their fullest potential.
I’m beyond excited to be part of the Achieving Milestones team and look forward to partnering with families to support your kiddos as they grow, learn, and thrive.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll likely find me outdoors, working out, traveling, or spending quality time with family and friends. Fun fact, one of my goals is to complete at least one new hike every year!
