Foundations is now available in 20” x 20” and 40” x 40” on my website!
This quilt, which combines serenity and symbolism, features a striking cross rising from a range of six mountains—each peak representing one of the remarkable women in my life that I’ve lost over the last six consecutive years. Their silhouettes vary subtly in height and angle, echoing the individuality of each woman while forming a unified range. Together, they create the foundation from which the cross rises, a reminder how faith comes out from love.
Behind the cross, a radiant sunburst spreads outward, casting light over the mountains and creating a sense of renewal and hope. The composition blends remembrance with resilience: the mountains honor their legacy, the cross reflects enduring faith, and the sunburst celebrates the enduring brightness these women brought into the world.
