❄️🕶️Did you know one of the first “snow sunglasses” were created by the Inuit?

Long before modern eyewear, the Inuit people crafted ingenious snow goggles from materials like bone, driftwood, or ivory. These goggles had narrow slits that reduced the intense glare reflecting off the snow—protecting their eyes from snow blindness while traveling and hunting in bright Arctic conditions.

Even today, winter glare is still a real concern. Sunlight reflecting off snow can be just as harsh on your eyes as summer sun, causing eye strain, headaches, and increased UV exposure.
