Meet Kaelin! She has been employed at Celina Care Community for over a year! She is in housekeeping. Her daily duties include cleaning the rooms and bathrooms on the assisted living side. Kaelin's favorite part of her job is meeting the residents and working with her amazing coworkers. Kaelin was employee of the month in February!

Her supervisor, Jake, says “Kaelin is determined to learn and grow. She's not afraid to tackle the job at hand and is very pleasant with the residents.

Hiring Kaelin has made such a positive impact on our facility staff as well as myself. She is one of the team and an absolute inspiration to all of us. She is proof that no matter what obstacles stand in your way, you can still thrive.”

October is National Disability employment Awareness month! NDEAM is held each October to commemorate the many and varied contributions of people with disabilities to America's workplace and economy. Check out what our employment manager, Amanda Ahrens, has to say about hiring individuals with disabilities.

They focus on their routine and tasks for the day, and they don't complain about their jobs, they're just simply grateful to be working in the community and happy doing a job that they enjoy where they get to make a difference.
