Modern hormone and metabolic care didn’t develop in isolation. It was shaped by Black women clinicians, scientists, and researchers whose work advanced physiology, women’s health, cardiometabolic science, and health equity — often without the recognition it deserved.
Many of the insights we rely on today exist because of their leadership, persistence, and commitment to better care.
This February, we honor the Black women whose contributions continue to shape how we understand hormones, metabolism, and whole-body wellness — not just in research, but in real lives and real exam rooms.
As a practice led and managed by women, we recognize that innovation in healthcare is inseparable from representation, equity, and lived experience.
🖤 We honor the legacy.
🧠 We celebrate the innovation.
🙌 And we commit to carrying this work forward with care, integrity, and deep gratitude.
