Athletes don’t just build strength — they build coordination, timing, and control.
After an injury, the biggest gap isn’t always muscle; it’s the communication between the brain and the body.

Neuromuscular exercises rebuild that connection so your muscles fire when they’re supposed to… not a split second too late.

And remember — eccentrics alone won’t get you back to your sport.
You need speed. Reactivity. Precision. Dynamic control.
That’s where true return-to-sport happens.

That’s why we program drills like:
• Mini-hurdle quick steps for sharp foot placement + reactive control
• Lateral speed jumps (in-video) to train explosive firing and landing mechanics
• Single-leg hurdle hops (in-video) for balance + dynamic stability
• Deceleration-to-jump combos to teach timing + force absorption
• Crossover hurdle patterns for multi-directional coordination
• Bulgarian split squat jumps onto plates (in-video) for speed to build rapid firing + controlled power
• Bulgarian split squat lateral hurdles (in-video) to challenge asymmetrical control under load

Strength matters — but neuromuscular timing is the separator.
Train the firing patterns. Train the foundation. Train like it matters — because it does. ⚡️

The progress has been incredible. Not only are they building strength and balance, but they’re also showing a true appreciation for the grind. It’s been amazing watching them buy into the process, grow in confidence, and even have fun joking around while pushing their limits.

💪 On the grind with Dr. Brianna! Today she worked with a young athlete from the Spartan Youth Football Club who recently sustained a knee injury. After a detailed subjective evaluation and special testing, she designed a session focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and reactivating the quads.

The session included:
✅ Evidence-based modalities to manage acute knee pain
✅ Targeted soft tissue mobilization
✅ Progressive, individualized exercises to rebuild strength and stability

What makes Dr. Brianna next-level? She’s not just a PT—she brings experience as a former athlete herself. She knows what it takes to get back on the field and she’s out here ballin’ while helping others do the same.

Why I Started Between the Lines PT

Since 7th grade, I knew I wanted to become a physical therapist.

As an athlete, I spent plenty of time on the table—recovering, rebuilding, and connecting with the people helping me get back to peak performance. That time shaped me. I know what it’s like to miss the biggest game of your life. I’ve been there. And because of that experience, I can truly resonate and relate with anyone on the table—whether it’s a weekend warrior, a pro athlete, or someone just trying to move pain-free again.

That’s the foundation of Between the Lines PT.

We’re about more than just rehab. We’re about connection, growth, and getting you not only back to your baseline—but beyond it. Each session is a mix of focused work, good vibes, and real progress. Laughter is welcome. Hard work is expected.

We also believe knowledge is key. We’ll educate you on everything from insurance and rest to load management and long-term performance. Because when you understand your body, you take control of your recovery.

This is rehab that meets you where you are—and pushes you to where you want to be.
