The holidays can feel joyful and overwhelming at the same time. When routines shift and emotions run high, the nervous system works overtime to keep you safe. If you feel more tired, stressed, or reactive this time of year, nothing is wrong with you. It is your brain responding to increased demand.
Research shows that during stress the amygdala becomes more active while the prefrontal cortex becomes less accessible, which can lead to emotional reactivity, difficulty sleeping, and feeling “on edge.”

Neurofeedback helps retrain these patterns by guiding the brain back toward flexibility and balance.
Studies have shown that neurofeedback supports emotional regulation and stress resilience (Arns et al., 2014), improves sleep (Cortoos et al., 2010), and increases cognitive flexibility and focus (Grin-Yatsenko et al., 2020). In seasons when the nervous system faces extra load, gentle brain-based support can make a meaningful difference.

Your brain is constantly adapting to internal and external changes, a process known as neuroplasticity.
Research shows that when the nervous system becomes dysregulated (from stress, seasonal changes, trauma, or burnout), brainwave patterns can shift into inefficient states that affect mood, focus, sleep, and emotional regulation (Hammond, 2011; Micoulaud-Franchi et al., 2015).

Neurofeedback directly targets this.

By providing real-time feedback on your brain’s activity, the brain learns to self-correct, strengthening more regulated patterns over time.
