The IonCleanse by AMD plays well with other modalities. We often get asked what order you should do them in. When pairing with another modality (or multiple) we always recommend that the IonCleanse should be the final step.

So if you wanted to use an infrared sauna and do an IonCleanse session on the same day, for example, we would recommend using the sauna first followed by the IonCleanse. The thinking here is that other modalities typically help stir up toxins, and the IonCleanse is the only device that acts like a “pull.”

Skepticism is welcome here. In fact, many people that now work for AMD started out as skeptics.

Here are some of the most common things we hear from skeptics:

1) Wait… so you’re actually detoxing into the water? Why does the water change without feet in it, then?

Yes, you really do detox into the water! We know this because a study showed the presence of urea, glucose, and creatinine molecules in the bathwater after the IonCleanse by AMD was used; organic materials that could only have come from the users’ body.

But you’re right, the water does still change color even if feet are not present in the water. This is because the charged ions generated in the water don’t play favorites and will neutralize anything in the water source, as well. 2) Why don’t you have more studies on what‘s in the water?
