Meet Marissa. 🤍

Grew up in Colorado. Multi-sport athlete her whole life. Played basketball at Colorado College — and it was there, watching a teammate navigate a career-ending injury, that everything clicked.

She didn't just see a recovery. She saw a relationship.

The trust, the bond, the way a physical therapist shows up for someone at their lowest. That's what led Marissa to pursue her doctorate in physical therapy from Creighton University and complete her sports residency at Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine Institute, where she earned her Sports Clinical Specialist certification.

Now she brings that same presence to every patient at the Performance Collective.

"It's more than just the injury. It's who they are and their identity. And I think that's really special, that as physical therapists, we get to have that relationship with people."

She's been part of the TPS journey for nearly two and a half years. She knows the roots. She understands the standard.

Come with .lacrosse on her PT visit!

Seven is a high school lacrosse player, and a few months into one of the hardest comebacks in sport: an ACL tear.

She comes in, gets on the bike, moves through her warm-up, works with the team, and finishes every session checking how far her range of motion has come.
