Happy World Theatre Day! Today, we celebrate the magic of performing arts and the people who bring it to life. But did you know that the performing arts industry can take a toll on the health of its practitioners?

According to a study by the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine, 78% of performing artists experience at least one injury during their career. That's why it's important to prioritize wellness as a performer, and that includes chiropractic care.

Chiropractic care can help alleviate pain and stiffness in the joints and muscles that come from years of performing. By properly aligning the spine and restoring proper nerve flow, chiropractic care can help improve overall mobility and reduce the risk of future injuries.

So on this World Theatre Day, let's celebrate the beauty of performing arts while also raising awareness about the importance of wellness for performers. If you're a performer looking to prioritize your health, schedule a consultation with us today to learn more about how chiropractic care can help keep you at the top of your game.

Biography

Hello, My name is Dr. Michael B. Chiapetto and I am a Chiropractor.

After sustaining a sports injury in high school, I started to become fascinated with the mechanisms of the human body. All of interactions and experiences with the various healthcare professionals(physiotherapists, orthopedic surgeons, physician’s assistants, etc.) sparked this interest even further. With this growing interest, I knew that I wanted to help people live their best lives and achieve that while avoiding unnecessary drugs or surgery. Over the course of my educational career, I began to realize all of the aspects that truly impact the health of the individual and how much command we have over the state of our well-being. So I asked myself, “ How can I merge these two ideas to truly impact the people I want to serve?”

That is when I visited a Chiropractor.

I didn’t know much about chiropractic at the time, nevertheless, it was very beneficial. The Doctor was knowledgeable, skillful, kind, engaging, caring, and truly desired to educate each patient that came into his office. That experience helped to guide my decision to try this profession called Chiropractic. I immediately fell in LOVE with the profession in my first year of schooling.
